How to Create a General Task

Follow the below steps to Create a General Task

General tasks can be added either under a timesheet or a Jobsheet. If you want to allow general tasks under a Jobsheet, go to Timesheet Settings in the Web Portal. Under Timesheet and Jobsheet Operation Settings check the checkbox labeled "Allow General Tasks in Jobsheets".
  1. Navigate to the Web Portal and login
  2. To create a new general task, first, create a new timesheet or Jobsheet.
  3. To create a general task under a timesheet, go to Timesheets and Leaves-> Timesheet 
  4. To create a general task under a Jobsheet, go to  Timesheets and Leaves-> Jobsheet 
  5. Choose a task from the dropdown list or click "+Add a New Task" to create a new task.
  6. Enter the start time and end time for the task.
  7. The Hours section will be calculated automatically.
  8. If necessary, enter any additional notes
  9. Once the TImesheet or JObsheet is approved. the General task can also be displayed under Timesheets and Leaves-> General Tasks
