How to Import a Plant list

This article explains how to import a Plant list
  1. Navigate to the Web Portal and login
  2. On the left-hand main menu, select Assets->Plant
  3. Click on the button
  4. Click on Import Data
  5. Choose Excel as your File Type. 
  6. Click on  Browse and find your file.  Make sure you DO NOT tick the options Do not execute the "onSuccess" and "onValidate" Scripts. This is used to process your import. 
  7. Click Next
  8. Make sure the Data Import mapping is located correctly so you can include Asset Number, Asset Display, Internal Fleet Number, Registration Number, Colour, Make, Model, Year of Manufacture, VIN, Serial Number etc
  9. Select "Don't import the data" On Import Errors.
  10. Click Import Data.

Compulsory: Asset Type, Make, Model, Internal Fleet Number and Internal Description
Would be good to include: Registration Number/Serial Number
