How to Create Activities

This article will help you to setup Activities for the Project
Project activities are the individual actions, and processes that need to be carried out to complete a specific project.
  1. Navigate to the Web Portal and login
  2. On the left-hand main menu, select Admin->Activities
  3. Choose WrokCentre and Work Category
  4. Enter an Internal code Number for these Activities
  5. Enter the Name and Description of the Activities
  6. Rate and Unit are interrelated. The Rate signifies the expense of the activity, while the Unit determines whether it is calculated per day, per hour, per item, and so on.
  7. Revenue Accounts are those accounts that report the income of the business and therefore have credit balances. Choose the Revenue Account Number- How to Create a Revenue Account
  8. Choose the Revenue Tax Rate How to create Tax Rates
  9. A cost Account is used to identify all variable and fixed costs associated with the production process. Choose the Cost Account How to Create a Cost Account

  10. Choose the Cost Tax Rate How to create Tax Rates
  11. Total Cose of the Activities, Total Price and Total Profit sections are disabled and they are calculated automatically
    Note: When you enable the "Calculate Rate from Items" option, the Rate field will be deactivated. Instead, the cost of the Activity will be computed based on the price or cost of each of its items.
  12. Enter Code Number and Name for the Activity Item
  13. Choose the Charge As from Labour, Plant, Material, Cartage and Sub Contractor
  14. The Default Cost Section is linked to the Charge As Section. If you opt for Labour as the Charge As a choice, you must select the Staff Name for the Default Cost. Each Staff member has their own Pay Rate configured in the Staff section.
  15. Choose the Default Quantity and Units

  16. If any job needs a Permit to Work then assign it under Work Permits Section. Permits to work can be used for activities like electrical jobs, hot works, confined spaces, excavation, lifting, working at heights and plenty more. Any high-risk task that presents a hazard to employees, contractors and the general public may require a permit.
  17. Add the Hazards associated with these Activities
