How to Integrate the Staff with Xero

Follow the steps below to integrate the Staff details with Xero Account
  1. Navigate to the Web Portal and login
  2. On the left-hand main menu, select Admin->Company Settings
  3. Follow the instruction to Integrate Xero with the 3PM Construction Portal- How to Integrate Xero with 3PM Construction Portal
  4. Determine the Primary Source: If the Master of Staff is set to "3pm," the primary source will be 3PM Construction or If the Master of Staff is set to "Financial System," mandatory staff details will be disabled, and Xero will control the information.
  5. Navigate to Staff->Staff to create a new Staff
  6. Click on + Add New Record or + button
  7. Provide the Staff's First Name and Last Name
  8. Specify their Role.
  9. Input their Address.

  10. Enter Date of Birth (DOB).
  11. Specify the Start Date under Payroll Information
  12. Within the Xero section, include mandatory fields such as Earnings Rates and Payroll Calendars.
  13. Optionally, add Mobile Phone Number, Job Title, and Email Address.
  14. After creating the staff profile, you can navigate to the Xero portal and proceed to "Payroll" > "Employee."

  15. Verify that the staff details are available in the Xero portal.

Master of Staff is 3PM: If you've set the Master of Staff to 3PM, Xero Integration is enabled, and 3PM Construction controls the information. Any staff creation or updates made in 3PM Construction will automatically sync with Xero. Consider 3PM as your primary data source.
Master of Staff is Financial System: If the Master of Staff is set to "Financial System," Xero Integration remains enabled, and Xero controls the information. Staff created in Xero will be synchronized, and the information will be locked in Xero. Any updates must be managed through Xero. In this scenario, Xero serves as your primary data source.
