How To Use Financial Management Overview

This article provides an overview to how to use financial Management within the 3PM Construction Application

  1. Navigate to Projects -> Finance
  2. Familiarize yourself with the screen below:

    Profit Calculation
    Profit is determined by summing up all Project Work Activities (PWA) & all Variation Work Activities (VWA). These figures are calculated using data pulled from various Job Transactions, including:

    • Timesheets;
    • Plant Hours;
    • Bills;
    • Other related job transaction entries.


    Cost to Date
    Cost to Date is a sum of all PWA. I
    ncluding Quoted, Provisional, Charge Up, Unit Pricing, Cost Plus tasks. Please note this amount excludes variations. 


     The numbers highlighted below are regarding all approved job transactions for Variations, Labour Hrs, Plant Hrs, Cartage Hrs, Tool Items, Material Items, Subbie Items, and Additional Items.
     They are only related to either a quoted or a provisional task. 
           


    Work in Progress
    Work In Progress is the sum of all PWA and VWA that are only Charge Up, Unit Pricing, Cost Plus PWA.
