How to Create Plant Hours

Plant Hours are generated when the Timesheet and Jobsheet create the Payroll Hours. To activate this feature, ensure that in the Timesheet Settings > Timesheet and Jobsheet Operation Settings, the Timesheet Hours Plan is set to "Task Entries Create Payroll Hours" and Plant Allpcatipn Plan is set to "Allocate Plant Per Task /jobEntry". If the Task Entries are separate from Payroll hours and Plant Hours are Separate from Task entries then you need to create Plant Hours manually.

Follow the steps below,
  1. Navigate to the Web Portal and login
  2. To create Plant hours automatically follow the below articles
    a) How to Create Timesheet when a Timesheet Contains Jobsheet Entries and Task Entries Create Payroll Hours
    b) How to Create Jobsheet
  3. Once you approve the Timesheet or Jobsheet the labour hour entry will be automatically created under Timesheets and Leaves-> Plant Hours 

Alternatively, to create a Plant Hour entry manually, follow these steps:
  1. Go to Timesheets and Leaves-> Plant Hours 
  2. Click on "Add New Plant Hour" or the "+" sign to create a Plant  Hour entry.
  3. Choose the Project Name.
  4. Choose Plant
  5. Select the Activity and Activity Item.
  6. Enter the Start and End Time.
  7. Provide the Total Plant Cost (the amount paid by an employer to cover Plant cost).
  8. Enter the Total Plant Price (the direct and indirect price that a company pays for a Plant usage).
  9. Click Submit to save the entry.
