Asset Configuration - General Settings

This article will explain to setup General Settings
  1. Navigate to the Web Portal and login
  2. On the left-hand main menu, select Assets->Asset Settings
  3. The Asset Spreadsheet displays the list of Assets
  4. Update Asset Class: How to Create Asset Class
  5. Update Check Lists: How to create Check Lists
  6. Update Tool Classes: How to Create Tool Classes
  7. Update Service Plans: How to Create Service Plan
  8. Depot Locations: How to create Depot Locations
  9. Vehicle Prefix, Plant Prefix, and Tools Prefix are used for sequence numbering
  10. Choose any of the Asset Number Sequencing option 
  11.  Assets can be assigned to projects manually, on Job Task or On Pre- Start

  18. The Tools Instruction is linked to the Asset & Tools section in the mobile app
  19. Default Map Location is used to show the asset's default location
  20. The Integration Settings allow for synchronization of Assets with NZTA and 3PM Track, which is necessary for Asset Tracking functionality. However, it's important to note that this setup is managed by 3PM.
  21. Click on Update to Save
