Integration with NZTA System

Introduction

The NZTA (New Zealand Transport Agency) integration allows 3PM to automatically retrieve the latest Warrant of Fitness (WOF) and vehicle registration (REGO) expiry details for your fleet assets — keeping your compliance information up to date without manual entry.

This is a one-way integration from NZTA → 3PM.

Data flows into 3PM only; no information is sent back to NZTA.

How it flows:
  1. Trigger from Assets report → NZTA Update on the selected asset.
  2. Retrieves information like WOF and REGO expiry.
  3. Per‑asset charges apply; billed on the monthly invoice.

How it Works

When you trigger an NZTA Update from the Assets report, 3PM securely connects to NZTA to retrieve the latest compliance information for the selected asset.

This includes:

  • WOF expiry date
  • REGO expiry date
Each update incurs a per-asset charge, which appears on your monthly invoice.

Setup

  1. 3PM will enable the NZTA integration for your tenancy.
  2. A unique ID will be issued and linked to your account.
  3. You can find this in your Asset Settings under Integration Settings

Running an NZTA Update

  1. Open the Assets report in 3PM.
  2. Select the Asset/ Assets you wish to update.
  3. Click NZTA Update.
  4. The system will fetch the latest WOF and REGO expiry details directly from NZTA and update the asset record automatically.

Billing

NZTA updates are charged per asset per update.
Charges will appear under the  NZTA Charges section of your monthly invoice.
